A 35-hour per week Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought to support early childhood education in an elementary school setting serving grades PK-2. This contract position is based in Gardner, MA, for the current school year (CSY), offering the opportunity to engage with a dynamic caseload focusing on young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language services covering the full spectrum of SLP duties to students in pre-kindergarten through second grade.
  • Collaborate with three Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and a part-time SLP-CCC to ensure coordinated and effective therapy.
  • Manage virtual and in-person sessions, demonstrating the ability to work independently and adapt to varied service delivery modes.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and demonstrate thorough knowledge of Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes.
  • Flexibly respond to team needs and adapt service plans to meet student goals and compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • School-based experience within Massachusetts public schools.
  • Extensive experience providing virtual speech therapy and the capability to self-manage a remote caseload effectively.
  • Strong documentation skills paired with a proactive approach to navigating IEP processes.
  • Flexibility and teamwork orientation, with the ability to integrate seamlessly into an existing support staff.
