Remote Speech Therapy in ND

A teletherapy speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support students in grades K-5. This contracted position offers the chance to work remotely with a caseload that includes students in general education and some in an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech therapy services via telepractice to students in early elementary grades
• Develop individualized treatment plans addressing speech and language goals
• Collaborate with paraeducators who assist students during therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Adapt therapy strategies to meet varied learning needs, including those on the autism spectrum
• Communicate effectively with educators and families regarding student progress

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP licensure or certification applicable for teletherapy services
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, including those with ASD
• Familiarity with telepractice platforms and remote service delivery
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals and educational staff

Location:

• Remote teletherapy services supporting students in Grand Forks, North Dakota

This assignment offers approximately 32 hours per week and provides the opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners communication development. A paraeducator is assigned to assist students during sessions, enhancing the support provided.
