A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 26/27 school year in the Grand Junction, CO area. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services primarily within schools, serving one to two school sites. The position offers a balanced workload with approximately 50-55% direct student interaction and 45-50% dedicated to indirect activities such as planning, documentation, and collaborative meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and provide individualized therapy services to pediatric students.
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to meet each students communicative needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation as required.
- Participate in meetings and professional development as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field.
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Colorado.
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Certification.
- Experience or interest in pediatric speech-language pathology within school settings.
- Ability to manage and prioritize caseloads efficiently in one to two school sites.
