Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Remote - Texas
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year from August 12, 2026, to May 21, 2027, supporting one district with a caseload of approximately 50 students. This contract role primarily serves elementary students, with some responsibilities involving middle and high school populations. The work schedule includes four full days with an additional day dedicated to testing.
Responsibilities include delivering speech and language services in compliance with school guidelines, conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and providing support to students with diverse communication needs. Supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) is part of this role, ensuring quality service delivery and adherence to best practices.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid licensure for school-based practice as an SLP
- Experience in telespeech services preferred
- Comfort with supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
- Ability to work with a range of student ages, mainly elementary to high school
