Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - MD
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Hagerstown, MD, specializing in school settings. This role involves delivering teletherapy and in-person speech-language services to pediatric clients within educational environments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide teletherapy and onsite speech-language interventions tailored to the needs of students.
- Collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and families to support student communication goals.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices.
Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland SLP certification.
- Experience or familiarity with telespeech, teletherapy, and school-based speech-language pathology practices.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Skills in pediatric speech-language therapy and healthcare-related communication disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage clients and multidisciplinary teams.
