Remote Speech Language Pathologist in MI
A part-time Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) position is available supporting Headstart Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) classrooms in West Iron County, Michigan. This role offers an opportunity to provide specialized telepractice and in-person speech therapy services to a small pediatric caseload.
Responsibilities include delivering speech and language interventions aligned with individual student needs, collaborating with educational staff, and maintaining accurate documentation. The position primarily serves young children within Headstart ECSE programs, focusing on early communication development.
Key qualifications:
- Valid Michigan SLP licensure
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, including clinical fellowship year (CFY) completed or active
- Competency in telepractice service delivery methods
- Familiarity with school-based speech services and healthcare settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
This role requires approximately 6 to 8 hours per week, with potential for adjustments based on caseload demands. The contract extends from the start date ASAP through June. Services will be provided in the Kingsford, MI area.
