Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual speech and language therapy services to elementary students within a school district in Virginia. This is a remote position that offers flexibility, meaningful work, and the opportunity to positively impact students' communication skills in a virtual learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to a K5 student caseload via a secure teletherapy platform.

• Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and assessments in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' speech and language needs.

• Collaborate virtually with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students communication needs are being met in the classroom and at home.

• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, progress reports, and communication logs.

• Participate in virtual IEP meetings, team collaboration, and professional development as required.

• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding school-based therapy services.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

• Current Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license (or willingness to obtain)

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in a school-based setting (elementary level preferred)

• Prior teletherapy experience preferred, but not required

• Strong technology skills and access to a reliable internet connection

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a virtual environment
