Supporting Pre-K through 6th-grade students in speech and language development through teletherapy, this contract position in Live Oak, CA, offers a valuable opportunity to deliver remote speech-language pathology (SLP) services. The role involves providing telespeech and teletherapy interventions, focusing on a caseload of approximately 78 students, including about 5 preschoolers, within an established educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver teletherapy services using VocoVision workstation technology in a shared but dedicated speech services space.
Collaborate with an onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) available five days per week and coordinate with occupational therapy and adapted physical education staff who may intermittently use the shared room.
Complete ongoing speech services such as annual reviews, re-evaluations, and new assessments, with support from another virtual SLP managing a portion of the caseload to avoid backlog.
Participate in preschool transition activities as needed (12 cases).
Attend IEP meetings scheduled on Thursdays.
Utilize familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System) to manage documentation and compliance efficiently.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid SLP certification and experience with teletherapy service delivery in school settings.
Proficiency with teletherapy equipment and software, specifically VocoVision or similar platforms.
Experience with SEIS or similar educational data management systems is highly advantageous.
Ability to manage a sizeable caseload while maintaining high-quality individualized support.
Strong organizational skills to meet end-of-year requirements and deadlines.

Contract Duration: Immediate start through June 5th, 2026
