Speech Teletherapy - MI
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide telespeech and teletherapy services for a school in Melvindale, MI, for the remainder of the school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to support students remotely while managing a flexible caseload tailored to the practitioners expertise and availability.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language therapy sessions using teletherapy platforms
- Collaborating with school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy approaches as needed
- Maintaining accurate documentation in adherence to school policies and regulatory requirements
- Communicating effectively with students, families, and educators to support student goals
Desired qualifications:
- Valid and current SLP certification and licensure applicable in Michigan
- Experience conducting telespeech and teletherapy services in educational settings
- Strong understanding of speech-language development and disorders in school-age children
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
