Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in MI

An opportunity is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists to support students across multiple grade levels within an educational setting. This position involves delivering specialized speech therapy services via telespeech and in-person to K-12 students spanning elementary through high school.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing individualized speech and language therapy to students in grades K-3, 4th/5th, middle, and high school
• Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conducting assessments and maintaining detailed documentation of student progress
• Delivering teletherapy sessions as well as in-person services to meet diverse student needs
• Managing caseloads of approximately 50 students across two buildings for 4th/5th and high school levels, and 35 students for K-3 and middle school levels

Qualifications include:

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Experience providing school-based speech therapy services
• Proficiency in telespeech therapy platforms and techniques
• Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively
• Strong communication and organizational skills

This contract position operates Monday through Friday, with working hours from 8:30 a.m. to 3:55 p.m. The location for these services is in Melvindale, Michigan.
