Virtual SLP in MN
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing teletherapy services in a school setting. This role focuses on supporting students in grades 6-12 with speech and language disorders, primarily addressing language and articulation needs through remote sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech and language services to middle and high school students.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy aligned with IEP goals.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and compliance with school district policies.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and provide indirect hours as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.
- Experience providing teletherapy or telespeech services in educational settings.
- Strong skills in language and articulation therapy.
- Ability to work with an itinerant caseload and manage travel requirements as needed.
- Familiarity with school-based caseload models and IEP documentation processes.
Location and Schedule:
- Role based in Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota area.
- Approximately 10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options.
- Contract position through the end of the school year.
