SLP Remote in CA

An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy to support K-12 students in Oakland, CA. This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality speech therapy services through telespeech platforms, offering flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a school setting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing speech-language therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload via teletherapy
• Collaborating with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support treatment plans
• Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment goals, and implementing therapy sessions in accordance with best practices and state guidelines
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes for all clients served
• Participating in virtual meetings and professional development as needed

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience providing school-based speech therapy services, including telespeech or teletherapy
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload of K-12 students with diverse communication needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with school staff, families, and support personnel
• Familiarity with using technology and platforms for teletherapy service delivery
