A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with expertise in school-based therapy, telespeech, and teletherapy services. This role supports both elementary and high school students through direct therapy and comprehensive assessments.
Location: Oxford, AL
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Contract Duration: August 3, 2026 May 28, 2027
Caseload: Approximately 55 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in elementary and high school settings
- Conduct speech and language assessments to determine student needs and progress
- Deliver services through both in-person and teletherapy methods, adapting to individual student requirements
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and assessment results
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication goals
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience providing speech therapy in school environments, including elementary and secondary education
- Proficiency in telespeech and teletherapy platforms
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, tailored to school-aged children
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students efficiently
