Virtual School-Based Speech Therapy - California
An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech and Language Therapist to provide maternity leave coverage from April 13 through June 3 in a school setting located in Petaluma, CA. This contract position primarily involves working with elementary students, offering specialized speech therapy services designed to support communication development and address individual speech and language needs.
Key responsibilities include delivering telespeech and direct speech-language pathology services in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs), conducting assessments, documenting progress, and collaborating with educators and families to optimize student outcomes. The role requires experience working within school environments and providing therapies tailored to young learners.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Proven experience in school-based speech therapy, preferably with elementary-aged students
- Proficiency in telespeech delivery methods
- Ability to initiate services promptly and provide coverage during maternity leave
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Schedule Details:
- Contract duration: March 30 to June 3, with preferred overlap beginning March 30
- Full-time hours, Monday through Friday
- Spring break occurring April 6-10
