About the Role:

Were looking for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work remotely with K12 students across South Dakota. This virtual position focuses on helping students improve their communication skills so they can thrive in school and beyond. Youll provide direct teletherapy services, conduct evaluations, and collaborate with school teamsall from the comfort of your home.

What Youll Do:

Deliver live, online speech and language therapy sessions to students individually or in small groups.
Complete virtual evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language needs.
Develop IEP goals and therapy plans tailored to each students needs and track their progress.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and special education teams to ensure student success.
Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility discussions.
Keep accurate records and ensure your documentation meets South Dakota and federal requirements.

What Youll Need:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Active South Dakota SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
Experience providing school-based or pediatric therapy services (teletherapy experience is a plus).
Knowledge of IDEA, IEP procedures, and state-specific special education regulations.
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Tech Requirements:

High-speed internet connection.
Computer with webcam, microphone, and secure teletherapy software.
Private, distraction-free workspace.

Bonus Qualifications:

Familiarity with digital therapy tools and online platforms like Zoom, TheraPlatform, or Presence.
Bilingual abilities (optional but valued).
Experience working with diverse student populations.
