A Speech-Language Pathologist with School-Based experience is sought for a contract position serving multiple elementary schools in the Plainfield, IL area. This role offers flexible full-time or part-time opportunities from ASAP through May 2026 within a collaborative special education cooperative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver teletherapy speech-language services to students, including those in self-contained Autism settings.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students, providing comprehensive assessments and individualized intervention plans.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide necessary compensatory services.
  • Collaborate with clinical and technology support teams to enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with educational regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Proven school-based speech-language pathology experience, particularly with IEP development and special education populations.
  • Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and technology.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseload and interface with school staff.
  • Experience working with students on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.

Location: Services will be provided virtually to students attending Walnut Trails Elementary, Minooka Primary Center, and Minooka Elementary in the greater Plainfield, IL region.
