School-Based Speech Teletherapy | Texas
A temporary Speech-Language Pathology opportunity is available at an elementary school in Poteet, TX, running from February 1 through April 30. This contract position involves working 25-30 hours per week to support speech services during a maternity leave.
Key responsibilities include supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), managing the speech-only segment of the caseload, and facilitating Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings. This role does not involve conducting testing or providing direct therapy minutes, as those are covered by the existing SLPA. Experience managing ARDs in a Texas school setting is essential.
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Proven experience in school-based speech therapy services
- Familiarity with teletherapy and telespeech service delivery preferred
- Strong skills in supervision and caseload management within a school context
