Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - NM
A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists skilled in telespeech, teletherapy, and holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). These positions support educational services in the Rio Rancho, NM area, with full-time hours and an emphasis on virtual service delivery.
Key qualifications include:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Mexico
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience with telespeech or teletherapy modalities in school-based settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively
- Familiarity with educational speech therapy protocols and compliance requirements
Primary responsibilities involve providing remote speech-language therapy services to students, collaborating with teachers and families to support communication development, conducting evaluations, and maintaining accurate documentation as per district guidelines.
This is a contract role designed to create a pool of qualified candidates for potential future backfill assignments. Candidates will have the opportunity to participate in interviews before the 20th of the month.
