A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in telespeech and holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for providing compensatory services. This contract opportunity requires delivering targeted speech therapy to address specific needs resulting from prior educational circumstances.
Assignment Details:
- Term: Immediate start until completion of services
- Total Hours: 8 hours (scheduled as 1 hour per week over 8 weeks)
- Location: Lexington, Massachusetts (remote telespeech services permitted)
- Service Type: Compensatory speech-language therapy for a former student
- Supervision/Support: Oversight available from a designated clinical coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver focused compensatory speech and language therapy to support progress as outlined in individual plans
- Utilize telepractice methods effectively to engage the student and meet therapy goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progress notes
- Collaborate professionally with coordinators and comply with regulatory requirements related to compensatory service delivery
- Navigate the unique circumstances involving service provision for a student no longer enrolled in the current district
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure for Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Proven experience with telepractice platforms in educational settings
