Virtual SLP in ID
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in teletherapy for a K-12 setting. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive speech services through telespeech platforms, supporting a caseload of 21 students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy via teletherapy to students across kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborating on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to tailor interventions that meet each student's unique needs.
- Conducting regular assessments and documenting progress to ensure effective case management.
- Coordinating with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Proven experience delivering teletherapy services in educational settings.
- Familiarity with school-based speech-language pathology, including IEP development and implementation.
- Strong organizational skills for managing therapy caseloads and related documentation.
This part-time role is based in Stites, ID, following the school calendar from late August through mid-June. Work hours are Monday through Thursday, totaling 20 hours per week.
