Remote Speech Language Pathologist in WA

A speech-language pathologist with expertise in school-based services and telespeech is sought for a contract position located in Tacoma, WA. This role involves providing speech and language therapy to a caseload of 40 to 50 students, working 32.5 hours per week at an elementary school resource room.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech-language therapy services aligned with individual education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborating with teachers and staff to support student communication goals
• Utilizing teletherapy (Telespeech) or onsite therapy methods as needed
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with educational guidelines

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state of Washington
• Approved fingerprint clearance issued through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
• Prior experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
• Proficient in both onsite and telepractice service delivery
