Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - TX
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available with a school district serving primarily elementary students, along with some middle and high school populations. This contract role offers an opportunity to deliver direct speech therapy services while contributing to student communication development across multiple age groups.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to approximately 50 students with diverse communication needs
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language goals
- Collaborate with educators and school personnel to support student progress
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed
- Manage caseload effectively, including opportunities to work four days per week with additional time allotted for testing
- Support students in both in-person and/or virtual settings, with potential openness to remote candidates
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with telespeech therapy techniques is a plus
- Ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

- Position based in Teague, TX with potential flexibility for virtual candidates
This contract role runs from August 12, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with an emphasis on supporting elementary students and extending services to middle and high school learners.
