Remote Speech Therapy in ND
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide telespeech therapy services for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. This role includes working with a caseload that encompasses general education as well as some students in an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) setting.
Location: Thompson, ND
Setting: School-based, teletherapy
Schedule: Approximately 32 hours per week with paraeducator support during speech sessions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language services tailored for K-5 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on communication goals
- Collaborate with paraeducators assigned to support students during sessions
- Monitor and document student progress in alignment with educational and therapeutic standards
- Adapt therapy approaches to effectively serve students in an ASD environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification suitable for telepractice
- Experience providing teletherapy services in a school setting
- Familiarity with techniques and strategies for working with students on the autism spectrum
- Strong communication and organizational skills for virtual therapy delivery
- Ability to engage and motivate young learners remotely
