Teletherapy Speech Therapy in MI
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a PreK through 12th-grade school setting in Utica, MI. This role primarily supports elementary students, with a focus on early childhood and school-age communication needs.
Responsibilities include providing remote speech and language therapy services tailored to individual IEP goals. The caseload consists mainly of elementary students, with some PreK children receiving walk-in services and child-find testing. Experience working with non-verbal and autism spectrum students is beneficial, though the caseload does not include Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) or moderate to severe cases.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience delivering teletherapy and telespeech services in educational settings
- Familiarity with speech and language development from PreK through 12th grade
- Comfort working remotely with diverse student populations, including non-verbal and autism spectrum children
- Ability to conduct child-find testing and support walk-in PreK clients
Location: Utica, MI (Remote services provided in accordance with local school requirements)
