Position: Remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Rhode Island

VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our remote team of teletherapy professionals. In this role, you will provide speech therapy services to students and clients across Rhode Island from the comfort of your home office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions for individuals with speech and language challenges.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address communication difficulties.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student progress and development.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of therapy sessions and student achievements.
Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Rhode Island.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience working with children and adolescents is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and familiarity with teletherapy platforms and tools.
Sample Caseload:
As a remote SLP with VocoVision, you will manage a diverse caseload of approximately 20 students, mainly in grades K-12, each with different speech and language needs. Heres an example of a typical caseload:
Student A (Grade 1)
- Disorder: Articulation Disorder
- Goals: Improve sound production; reduce phonological errors.
- Frequency: 2 sessions per week.
Student B (Grade 3)
- Disorder: Language Delay
- Goals: Increase vocabulary; enhance sentence construction and conversational skills.
- Frequency: 1 session per week.
Student C (Grade 4)
- Disorder: Stuttering
- Goals: Apply fluency strategies; reduce stuttering frequency.
- Frequency: 1 session per week.
Student D (Grade 5)
- Disorder: Pragmatic Language Disorder
- Goals: Improve social communication; enhance understanding of non-verbal cues.
- Frequency: 1 session per week.
Student E (Grade 6)
- Disorder: Speech Sound Disorder
- Goals: Address speech errors; improve speech clarity.
- Frequency: 2 sessions per week.
Student F (Grade 7)
- Disorder: Expressive Language Disorder
- Goals: Expand expressive language skills; improve storytelling abilities.
- Frequency: 1 session per week.
Student G (Grade 8)
- Disorder: Receptive Language Disorder
- Goals: Improve comprehension; enhance listening skills.
