Remote Speech Language Pathologist in MI

A virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide teletherapy services for K-12 students in a diverse academic environment located in Warren, MI. This contract role offers 20 hours per week beginning immediately through June 11, 2027, with the potential to increase hours based on program needs.

The student population represents a rich cultural mosaic, primarily Middle Eastern, with many first-year English Language Learners (ELL) from over 2,000 countries. Students bring varied religious and linguistic backgrounds, including multiple Arabic dialects. This unique setting provides an exciting opportunity to support a broad spectrum of speech and language needs in a truly multicultural context.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language pathology services via teletherapy to K-12 students
• Collaborate with onsite staff to organize schedules and support student participation during sessions
• Utilize provided dedicated rooms and necessary equipment, including headsets, to ensure effective virtual therapy
• Manage caseloads and student schedules based on rosters supplied by the client
• Document and track progress using the PowerSchools IEP system, with client-provided training on the platform

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience providing teletherapy services, especially in school-based environments
• Comfort working with culturally and linguistically diverse student populations
• Ability to collaborate with onsite personnel to facilitate therapy sessions
• Familiarity with IEP processes and digital documentation tools is advantageous
