Telehealth School-Based Speech Therapy | Idaho
Two Speech-Language Pathology positions are available to support students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting, with a focus on telespeech and teletherapy services. These contract roles provide an opportunity to deliver essential speech and language support across a wide grade range, catering to approximately 40 students per caseload.
Scheduled for 25 to 32 hours per week, the workweek spans four days, Monday through Thursday, allowing for a balanced professional schedule. The roles cover two distinct grade groups: one position focuses on PK through 3rd grade, while the other supports 4th through 12th grade students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services using both in-person and teletherapy methods
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments and testing
- Managing caseloads effectively, including documentation and case management requirements
- Collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Qualifications and experience preferred:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP credential)
- Experience delivering therapy in school environments, including telespeech or teletherapy services
- Ability to work with diverse age groups, from early childhood to adolescence
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple cases and maintain accurate records
