Virtual School-Based Speech Therapy - Illinois
An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual teletherapy services for students with special education needs. The position focuses on supporting self-contained Autism classrooms within elementary school settings. This role requires school-based SLP experience and offers flexibility as either full-time or part-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy sessions to approximately 15 students on caseload, providing individualized speech and language support.
- Manage compensatory therapy and participate actively in IEP meetings to ensure compliance with educational goals.
- Collaborate with clinical and technical teams for ongoing support and resource sharing.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Proven experience working in school environments, particularly with students diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorders.
- Skilled in utilizing teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery.
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education regulations.
- Ability to engage and motivate students across various developmental levels.
Location and Schedule:
- Virtual position serving students at Walnut Trails Elementary, Minooka Primary Center, and Minooka Elementary in Morris, Illinois.
- Contract runs from ASAP through May 2026, covering the 2025-2026 school year.
