Speech Language Pathologist in Tracy, CA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 public school setting in Tracy, CA, for the current school year on a contract basis. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students with mild to moderate disabilities, ranging from preschool through 8th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students, delivering RTI, assessment, and speech-language interventions according to IEP goals.
- Utilize varied service delivery models including pull-out, push-in, and consultative approaches.
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in IEP meetings to develop and update individualized education plans.
- Serve students across multiple sites, including specialized classrooms focusing on autism and moderate to severe disabilities.
- Conduct preschool intake evaluations and provide ongoing support.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of California.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings.
- Strong knowledge of special education processes and individualized therapy delivery.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
