Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Troy, NY

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting located in Troy, NY. This contract role offers a flexible schedule with approximately 0.4 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) hours per week, allowing workdays to be arranged Monday through Friday. The position begins ASAP and continues through the end of the 2025-2026 school year.

Key qualifications include holding a valid New York State SLP License through the New York State Education Department (NYSED). Candidates should have experience working with school-aged children (K-12) and be comfortable providing speech-language services in an educational environment. Relevant certifications such as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments for students from kindergarten to 12th grade
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with school and regulatory requirements
• Participate in meetings and professional development activities as required
