Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Willmar, Minnesota
This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatric and school-based care. Serving an elementary caseload of approximately 17-20 students spanning Pre-K through 5th grade, the role is located onsite in Willmar, MN, within a school setting. The position is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week across 3 days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide therapy tailored to students individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) consistent with best practices.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Certifications such as CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) and experience in pediatric and school settings are highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children from Pre-K to 5th grade.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse school teams.
