This full-time Social Worker position offers an opportunity to support students social and emotional well-being within a school setting in Granite City, IL. The role is contract-based and aligned with the needs of the academic calendar year (NSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized interventions
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and access community resources when necessary
- Facilitate group sessions that promote social skills and conflict resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district policies and confidentiality regulations
Qualifications:
