Work From Home Social Worker | New Mexico

Position available for a virtual social worker providing telehealth services to students in Albuquerque, NM. This contract opportunity involves supporting a small caseload within a virtual school setting one day per week, approximately eight hours. Services include both direct and indirect time, all compensated.

Responsibilities include delivering individual IEP services to a caseload of eight students, primarily aged 12 to 14, with a total weekly commitment of about 30 minutes per student. Support focuses on addressing the social and emotional needs of youth between 12 and 18 years old. Familiarity with school-based social work practices and telehealth delivery is essential for effective engagement.

Qualifications and experience preferred:

• Active professional social work license in New Mexico
• Valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) license strongly preferred
• Experience with virtual school environments and telehealth service delivery
• Ability to efficiently document services using provided district platforms
• Previous work with middle school to early high school-age populations
• Commitment to comply with required background screenings conducted by the school district
