Virtual School Social Worker in IL

A contract position is available for a bilingual school social worker or school psychologist based onsite in Morton, IL. The role involves providing telehealth counseling services and basic school counselor duties, requiring fluency in Spanish to support a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive school counseling services to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional needs
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans in collaboration with school staff and families
• Provide telehealth counseling sessions as part of caseload management
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support student well-being

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Illinois license as a school counselor or school psychologist
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Fluency in Spanish essential for effective communication with students and families
