Position Overview:

As a School-Based Digital Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in identifying students who may benefit from social-emotional support and providing intervention strategies through digital platforms. You'll collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to help students overcome barriers to learning, manage social-emotional challenges, and foster resilience, all while working remotely and utilizing cutting-edge tools to deliver services.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Support and Empower: Identify students who need additional support with emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, or mental health challenges, and provide tailored interventions.

• Develop Individualized Plans: Create personalized treatment plans for students based on their unique needs, ensuring that each intervention is meaningful and effective.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with teachers, parents, school staff, and other professionals to create a unified approach to student well-being.

• Utilize Technology: Conduct digital assessments, provide virtual counseling, and offer support through our advanced digital platform, ensuring that students receive the best care possible.

• Advocate for Mental Health: Promote awareness and understanding of mental health issues within the school community, helping to reduce stigma and create a positive, inclusive environment.

• Track and Report Progress: Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and interventions, ensuring that students needs are met and their outcomes are properly documented.

What Were Looking For:

• Active Social Work License in New York: Required for eligibility.

• Relevant Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a school-based or clinical setting, where youve supported students with a range of social-emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Professional Insurance: Required to ensure you have the necessary coverage and protection once you accept a position.

• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using digital platforms to assess, counsel, and communicate with students and families. Youll need to pass a technology screening to join our team.

• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate with students, families, and school staff, both remotely and in-person when needed.
