Special Ed Teacher - Concord, New Hampshire

A Special Education Teacher position is available in Concord, NH, supporting a small caseload of six students with very high needs. This contract role is ideal for educators experienced in managing individualized instruction and supporting students with intensive requirements within a school setting.

Location: Concord, NH

Hours: Approximately 8 hours per week during school hours (8:20 AM to 3:05 PM daily), with additional compensated planning time as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage 1:1 paraprofessionals working directly with students to ensure consistent support
• Develop, implement, and deliver individualized instruction tailored to each students needs
• Manage special education processes including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and eligibility documentation
• Collaborate with an in-house Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and related services team to support student progress
• Maintain communication and coordination with the multidisciplinary team for optimal student outcomes

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with students who have high needs in inclusive and specialized settings
• Ability to lead and manage paraprofessional staff effectively
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage IEPs, compliance, and eligibility processes
• Collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team
