VocoVision is looking for an experienced Special Education Teacher (SPED) to provide remote support to K-12 students across Mississippi. This is a flexible, work-from-home role where you will deliver individualized instruction and interventions to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they succeed in both academic and social settings.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide remote instruction to students with a variety of learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and developmental delays.
• Develop and implement personalized Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to meet each students unique academic, social, and behavioral needs.
• Utilize virtual tools and resources to deliver effective lessons in subjects like math, reading, and writing.
• Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and school teams to track student progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Participate in IEP meetings, ensuring students receive the appropriate accommodations and services.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records in line with Mississippis special education regulations.

What You Need:

• Valid Mississippi Special Education certification.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education.
• At least two years of experience working in a school-based setting (teletherapy experience is preferred).
• Proficiency with virtual teaching tools and online platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote setting.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional home workspace.
