Special Education Teacher - Littleton, NC

Located in Halifax, NC, this opportunity seeks four dedicated Special Education Teachers to provide Exceptional Children (EC) Resource teaching services across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract role offers an onsite position from July 27, 2026, through July 4, 2027, working approximately 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with exceptional needs in resource settings.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of educational performance.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and compliance with state education guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina special education teaching certification, including virtual or onsite EC teaching credentials.
