Virtual Special Education Teacher Supporting Students in Middletown, OH
Location: Middletown, OH (Remote)
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (K-12)

About VocoVision:
VocoVision is looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to provide remote services to K-12 students in Middletown, Ohio. In this role, you will create and deliver individualized instruction to help students with diverse learning needs succeed in a virtual learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored educational support to students with a variety of disabilities and learning challenges.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet each students unique needs and goals.
Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and other school teams to monitor progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
Actively participate in IEP meetings to ensure that students receive the necessary services and accommodations.
Offer support to general education teachers on how to integrate students with special needs into the classroom.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Ohios special education regulations.

Qualifications:

Valid Ohio certification in Special Education.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
At least two years of experience in a special education setting (teletherapy experience is a plus).
Strong proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working remotely with students and their teams.
A reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
