About VocoVision:
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to provide remote services to K-12 students in Southfield, Michigan. In this role, you will create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and offer tailored instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalized instruction to students with a variety of disabilities and learning challenges.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on each students specific needs and goals.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school teams to track student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Actively participate in IEP meetings to ensure the necessary accommodations and support are in place.
Assist general education teachers in integrating students with special needs into classroom activities.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Michigans special education regulations.

Qualifications:

Valid Michigan certification in Special Education.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
At least two years of experience in a special education setting (teletherapy experience preferred).
Strong proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working remotely with students and their teams.
A reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
