Virtual Special Education Teacher - VA

A fully remote position is available for a Special Education Teacher to serve middle school students in Michigan. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support through telehealth platforms, ensuring that students with diverse disabilities receive tailored educational services in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities include providing case management services, facilitating push-in support within the virtual classroom, conducting small-group and one-on-one instructional sessions, administering STAR testing, and supporting students with a range of special education needs. The position operates on a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications for this role require an active Michigan Special Education license with any endorsement, a minimum of two years of teaching experience, and preferably prior virtual teaching experience. Candidates must be able to successfully complete a technology screening and background check. Professional liability insurance is also a mandatory requirement.
