Virtual Special Education Teacher - MI

A Special Education Teacher with expertise in telehealth is needed to support students in an educational setting. This contract role is based in Ann Arbor, MI, providing an opportunity to deliver specialized instruction and interventions focused on meeting the unique needs of students with diverse learning challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized special education instruction and support via telehealth platforms.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families, educators, and related service providers.
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure progress and adapt instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to student performance and service delivery.
• Participate in virtual meetings and trainings to stay current with best practices in special education and telehealth service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Valid special education teaching certification.
• Experience delivering special education services through telehealth or remote platforms.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and instructional strategies.
• Ability to engage and motivate students with varying abilities in a virtual environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with digital tools and technology for instructional support.
