Virtual Special Education Teacher in NE

A full-time Special Education teaching position is available, focused on supporting elementary school students through telehealth services. Responsibilities include providing specialized instruction to approximately 15-20 students across two elementary schools, with a split schedule allocating .5 full-time equivalent (FTE) days to each location. This role requires adaptability to manage varied student needs and coordinate services effectively via telehealth platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized special education instruction using telehealth tools to elementary students.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards.
• Monitor student engagement and adapt teaching methods accordingly.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students.
