Online Special Education Teacher in GA
A Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Jesup, GA. This onsite contract role involves providing telehealth and in-person instruction to students from kindergarten through 5th grade within a school setting.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), delivering specialized instructional support to students with diverse learning needs, collaborating with staff and families to track student progress, and modifying lesson plans to accommodate both remote and onsite learning environments.
Key qualifications for this position are:
- Active Georgia SRT4 or higher teaching license
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification
- Experience working with K-5 students in a special education setting
- Ability to deliver supportive telehealth instruction alongside onsite teaching duties
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload effectively
