Virtual Special Education Teacher in IL

Opportunities are available for Special Education Teachers specializing in telehealth services across grade levels K-12. These full-time contract positions are based in the Chicago area, offering a 35-40 hour workweek from Monday to Friday. Assignments are immediate and continue through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering specialized instruction tailored to students with learning, emotional, and autistic disabilities
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Collaborating remotely with school staff to support student progress
• Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with educational standards

Qualifications sought:

• Possession of Illinois LBS1 PEL Certification valid for grades K-12
• Demonstrated experience in writing effective IEP goals aligned with student needs
• Ability to work effectively within a telehealth framework to deliver special education services
• Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and educational teams
