Special Education Teacher Online | Ohio

A full-time middle school intervention specialist position is available in a school setting, focusing on special education services delivered through both traditional and telehealth methods. This role requires expertise in working with middle school students who need specialized academic and behavioral interventions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to diverse learner needs
• Delivering special education instruction and support, utilizing telehealth platforms when appropriate
• Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to monitor student progress and adapt intervention strategies
• Conducting assessments and maintaining accurate records in compliance with educational regulations
• Providing behavioral support and intervention to promote positive student outcomes
• Communicating regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and needs

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Valid state certification in special education
• Experience working with middle school students, particularly in an intervention specialist role
