Special Education Teacher Work From Home | Washington

A Special Education Teacher position is available to cover a maternity leave from early November through late January in Sultan, WA. This role focuses on an elementary caseload, working with 1st and 4th-grade students within a primary-level Special Learning Classroom (SLC). The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities include delivering specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs, collaborating with other educators and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitoring student progress to adapt strategies accordingly. The position utilizes telehealth methods to ensure continuous support and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Active teaching license in Special Education
• Previous experience in a special education setting is highly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage an elementary caseload effectively
