Virtual Special Education Teacher - OH

A full-time middle school intervention specialist is sought to provide specialized support through telehealth services in an educational setting focused on special education. This role requires the ability to deliver tailored instructional strategies and interventions to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities, facilitating academic growth and social development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Delivering targeted interventions and progress monitoring through virtual platforms.
• Adapting instructional materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
• Supporting students social-emotional growth alongside academic instruction.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational regulations.
• Collaborating with families, educators, and related service providers to ensure cohesive support.

Qualifications:

• Certified Special Education Teacher credential.
• Experience working as an intervention specialist, preferably within a middle school setting.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and technology used in remote instruction.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, assessment tools, and intervention techniques.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to the evolving needs of students.
