Online Teach of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - Texas
A position is available for a professional specializing in telehealth services for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, as well as for those who are Visually Impaired. This role is based in Keller, TX, and involves providing specialized educational support in a school setting under a contract arrangement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering effective telehealth instruction tailored to the needs of students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
- Developing and adapting educational materials and strategies for students who are Visually Impaired.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting methodologies as needed.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing and/or Teacher for the Visually Impaired.
- Demonstrated experience with telehealth technologies and remote instruction methods.
- Strong understanding of the educational needs and accommodations for students with hearing and visual impairments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
