Remote Teach of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing | Georgia

A specialized opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing utilizing telehealth services. This contract position supports students by delivering expert instruction and intervention designed to enhance communication skills and educational outcomes for individuals with hearing impairments.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing remote instruction and support tailored to the unique needs of deaf and hard-of-hearing students
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers to create an inclusive learning environment
• Utilizing telehealth technology to conduct assessments, therapy, and progress monitoring
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with applicable regulations and standards

Desired qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
• Experience delivering instruction via telehealth platforms
• Strong understanding of audiological and language development principles
